Aspiration Risk Management Policy and Procedures Phase-In Schedule
The Phase-In Schedule for the Aspiration Risk Management Policy and Procedures that went into effect August 16, 2010 has been modified as of December 14, 2010. This letter and the revised Table explain these changes. Please notice that the schedule has not changed for Jackson Class members, but additional flexibility has been created for DD Waiver participants who are not Jackson Class members and who have not experienced outpatient treatment or hospitalization for aspiration pneumonia since 8/2/10. This change to the schedule is being made as one way to provide relief to providers during this time of reduced resources. Please contact the Clinical Services Bureau at 505-841-2948 if you have questions or would like more information please contact us by e-mail aspiration.Coord@state.nm.us for more information.
