Below are links to funds, programs and services designed to ensure that all New Mexicans with developmental disabilities and medically fragile conditions receive the highest quality home- and community-based services. We offer a range of services that are person-centered, responsive to the needs of each and every individual, and support people in meaningful community engagement. Family Infant Toddler Program
This program coordinates and manages a statewide system of early intervention services for infants and toddlers under the age of three who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Learn more



Developmental Disabilities Waiver
This program is designed to provide services and supports that will allow eligible individuals with developmental disabilities to participate as active members of their communities. The program serves as an alternative to institutional care. Learn more

Mi Via Self-Directed Waiver
DDSD is pleased to announce the availability of Mi Via, New Mexico’s Self-Directed Waiver, to all participants of the Developmental Disabilities and Medically Fragile Waivers! You may now choose between Mi Via and your current waiver. Learn more

State General Funded Services
These are temporary funds to support individuals with developmental disabilities who do not meet eligibility criteria for the Waiver. This service is based on state appropriated funds and the services are provided on a case-by-case basis. Learn more
