Program Authorization and Services
Individuals with Developmental Disabilities are served through the State General Funded Services as regulated by the New Mexico Statute Authority Chapter 16 Developmental Disability Community Services Act. State General Fund Program services include: respite for children and adults with developmental disabilities, adult residential, vocational and self-directed family supports. (more)

State General Funded Services are provided through Regional and/or statewide Providers who have been awarded contracts through the Department of Health, Developmental Disabilities Services Division. Services are administered on the regional level . (more)
State General Funded Services Contract Criteria
Contract criteria can be obtained through contacting the State General Funds Contract Manager at (505) 827-2700 or through writing to: Contract Officer, 1190 St. Francis Drive, Harold Runnels Building, N-1100, P.O. Box 26110, Santa Fe, NM 87502-6110. Becoming an SGF Provider is accomplished through responding to the state's Request for Proposal for bids on services in the state. (more)
Budget Utilization
Refers to the process by which the Developmental Disabilities Services Division reviews the amount of services provided over a period of time in comparison to the amount of services that were contracted to be provided over that period of time. The state now reviews utilization on a quarterly basis. (more)
