Jennifer Thorne - Lehman, DDSD Deputy Director

Oversees the Clinical Services Bureau (including Therapy, Medically Fragile Waiver, Nursing and healthcare related services), the Medical Director for DDSD, Jackson Compliance CPR Team, Intake and Eligibility Bureau, Training Unit and Services for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Earned a Master's degree in Training and Learning Technology from University of New Mexico (UNM) in 1997 and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from New Mexico State University in 1983. Jennifer served as the Senior Program Manager for the Continuum of Care Project at UNM School of Medicine from 1993-2004. Prior to working for UNM, she worked for the Developmental Disabilities Division at the New Mexico Department of Health in the areas of early intervention and case management from 1988-1993. She began her career in the field of developmental disabilities at Parents Reaching Out from 1985 to 1988.
