Countermeasures / POD
The State Medical Countermeasure (MCM) Plan is supplemented by an Operations Guide (CMOG) that contains information about planning and implementing a public health campaign to dispense medicine, vaccines or medical supplies during a public health emergency.
The New Mexico Department of Health, Public Health Division, in conjunction with NM MRC Serves is continuously recruiting volunteers to help with the distribution and dispensing of medicine during public health emergencies. The “New Mexico Adopt-a-Pod” program has been developed to attract local community members to volunteer to work at locations in their own communities and all across the State.
