State Medical Countermeasure (MCM) Distribution Plan
The State of New Mexico Medical Countermeasures (MCM) Plan describes the deployment of assets from the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) for the protection of New Mexicans at the time of a public health threat large enough to exhaust local and state resources. The plan outlines the processes to request, receive, stage, store, transport and distribute medical countermeasure assets throughout the state. It sets forth lines of authority, roles and responsibilities, and organizational relationships. It shows how actions will be coordinated among State, local, tribal, and federal governments.
