The Family Health Bureau implements preventive services to reproductive age women, mothers, infants, children, adolescents/youth, including children and youth with special health care needs, and their families. The needs of these populations are assessed and data collected to use in policy decision making.
Family Planning Program
Welcome to the Family Planning training site.
All Title X family planning staff in New Mexico must complete three trainings within 30 days of hire.
Certificates of completion must be kept for each person who has contact with family planning clients at the worksite for audits.

- The Basics of Oral Contraceptives - This training is essential for new clinic staff (nurses and clinicians) to be able to understand oral contraceptive pills and dispense them correctly.
