The Resource Manual for Independent Case Managers for the Developmental Disabilities Waiver was developed by the Case Management Unit and published in September 2006. The manual, in combination with the Pre-Service Manual of Case Management Competencies, can be used to assist new case managers in learning their job and as a ready reference for many case management questions. The manual details DD Waiver case management roles and responsibilities as well as the many procedures and timelines case managers must follow to accomplish their tasks. References to policies and procedures and regulations will be updated periodically.
