Resources for First Responders, EMTs, Fire Personnel and Police

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), fire and police personnel, and hospital staff, are first at the scene of emergencies or disasters, and are often at higher risk of injury and attack in these emergency situations. The Bureau of Health Emergency Management recognizes the need for preparedness resources and materials for all first responders and offers a number of fact sheets and links to other organizations offering both first responder help and possible health resources that first responders may need in emergencies.
